Are you or someone you know currently living with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer?
If so, Casting for Recovery invites you to apply for their first annual Southwest Idaho metastatic retreat, which will be held Sept. 6-8 at the beautiful Living Waters Ranch in Challis.
Casting for Recovery is a national support and educational program for women with breast cancer. The program provides free, three-day retreats to women impacted by breast cancer. Not only do participants benefit from the physical and emotional wellness fly-fishing can provide, but the retreat provides a forum to broaden the understanding of breast cancer treatment and enable sharing among participants.
An all-female staff of medical and fly-fishing professionals will guide participants through the weekend as they seek to enhance the lives of women with breast cancer by connecting them to each other and nature through the therapeutic sport of fly-fishing.
“Our team is looking forward to providing an opportunity for women with metastatic breast cancer to gather at our new Casting for Recovery retreat,” said Melissa Seyler, Southwestern Idaho program coordinator. “We are pleased to tailor a retreat for this specific group.”
