STORY AND PHOTO BY KAREN BOSSICK

See how far you can bike uphill pulling a keg behind you. And see how low can you go doing the bike limbo.

The Trailhead Bicycles is holding a Summer Kick-Off Party at the Quigley Bike Park from 4 to 7 p.m. tonight—Saturday, June 15. It will include bike games complete with such prizes as POC helmets and jerseys, Handup gloves, EVOC saddlebags and repair kits, Muc-off cleaning products and Trailhead custom merchandise.

There will be strider races, an obstacle course, pump track challenge, keg pull and limbo and kid crafts. There also will be free beer and drinks, along with food for purchase from La Parilla, Woodfired Pizza and Ice Shaved Sun Valley.

The fun starts with a bike parade to the park leaving at 3:45 p.m. from the new Trailhead Bicycles shop on Bullion Street in Hailey. Cyclists will have a chance to grab a drink and check out pop-up tents provided by Dark Sky Bikepacking, Higher Ground and the Wood River Trails Coalition while kids take part in kids activities from 4 to 4:30 p.m.
