Two poets who are currently serving as Writers-in-Residence at the historic Ernest and Mary Hemingway House will share some of their work at 5:30 tonight—Thursday, June 20—at The Community Library.
Peter Kline is the author of two poetry collections, “Mirrorforms” and “Deviants.” He teaches writing at the University of San Francisco and Stanford University.
A former Wallace Stegner Fellow, he has received numerous awards, including the Morton Marr Prize from Southwest Review, the River Styx International Poetry Prize and The Columbia Review Poetry Prize.
Brittany Perham is the author of “Double Portrait,” which received the Barnard Women Poets Prize and was a finalist for the Northern California Book Award. She also has written “The Curiosities” and coauthored the word/art project “The Night Could go in Either Direction.”
She teaches in the Creative Writing Program at Stanford University.
