A Community Roundtable discussion looking at the upcoming FIS Alpine World Cup Finals in Sun Valley will be held Thursday, Aug. 1.
Sun Valley Economic Development will hold the roundtable from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Ketchum’s Limelight Hotel.
Panelists will describe how the race course is being prepared and plans for housing and transporting teams and spectators, as well as off-hill festival and events. They also will discuss potential brand exposure and sponsorship opportunities and the immediate and long term economic impacts of hosting the World Cup season finale for the top 25 male and female skiers in the world in their respective disciplines.
The World Cup Finals are scheduled for March 18-28, 2025, in Sun valley.
Drinks and networking will be provided at the roundtable.
