Paul Lazar, who has acted in more than 40 feature films, including “Snowpiercer,” “Mickey Blue Eyes,” “Silence of the Lambs,” and “Lorenzo’s Oil,” will discuss his award-winning career at 4 p.m. Monday, July 29, at The Community Library.
Lazar is in town to direct play readings of “Escaped Alone,” which will be presented Aug. 8-11 by The Argyros in association with Sawtooth Productions. The play readings feature Kathy Wygle and Claudia McCain, in addition to out-of-town actors.
Caryl Churchill’s play revolves around three old friends and a neighbor enjoying backyard tea as they explore issues of environmental disaster, politics and female endurance. Tickets are available at https://www.theargyros.org.
