More than 70 artists from across the Intermountain West will showcase their wares during the Papoose Club Annual Holiday Bazaar Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7-8, at Hemingway STEAM School in Ketchum.
The bazaar will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Mini-ponies will make an appearance from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, and Santa will drop in from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Holiday Bazaar attracts authentic hand-made artisan gifts that are clearly a notch above many of the bazaar items in other towns, having been selected by a jury. There’ll be dozens of creative birdhouses for sale, along with ceramics, handblown glass, jewelry, wool products, home décor, handbags, clothing, wood products, Christmas ornaments, textiles, cards, art and more.
You’ll find dozens of innovative Christmas cookies that you can mix and match. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own totes and tins, bags and reusable containers for cookies, soups and other holiday purchases to reduce waste for a greener holiday.
There also will be a raffle.
The Holiday Bazaar is one of The Papoose Club’s three big fundraisers each year, the other two being the Wagon Days Pancake Breakfast and the Webb Nursery Plant Sale. Proceeds go to support cultural, social, educational and athletic activities for Blaine County youth.
