The Sage School in Hailey will host an Open House at the Quigley Campus starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29. This event will provide prospective students, families and interested community members the opportunity to learn about the school’s educational model.
School faculty and current students will be available to share information about the curriculum and answer questions. Attendees will also have the chance to participate in guided tours of the Quigley Campus, which has been thoughtfully designed to be an integral part of The Sage School experience.
"We’re excited to welcome interested students and their families to our annual Open House," said Chris McAvoy, Assistant Head of School and Head of Admissions. "Sage is making its mark by truly offering a different approach to education for adolescents--our students are engaged in meaningful work, understand themselves in powerful ways, and are building deep relationships to this place. We are unique in this valley and unique in the country.”
The Sage School is a 6th -12th-grade, NWAIS-accredited, independent school that honors adolescence as a critical developmental window for learning essential academic, cognitive, social, and emotional skills. The Sage School offers a challenging, authentic curriculum centered on human ecology and engaging experiences designed specifically to promote self-awareness, community responsibility and a sense of place.
For students and families unable to attend the Open House but interested in learning more about The Sage School, an introductory call can be scheduled with Chris McAvoy, Head of Admissions, through the school’s website at https://thesageschool.org/inquire/visit.
