Scholarships are awaiting students in Blaine, Camas, Lincoln and other counties, according to The Idaho Community Foundation.

These scholarships, made possible by the generosity of donors who believe in the power of education, provide critical financial support to students seeking to further their education and achieve their dreams.

Scholarships specific to South Central Idaho include:

• Gooding High School Scholarship Fund – Awards are available for graduating seniors from Gooding High School who can demonstrate financial need.

• James and Rose Helebrant Education Scholarship Fund – This scholarship is for a graduating senior from Buhl High School who demonstrates financial need.

• Richfield High School Scholarship Fund – Scholarship awarded to a graduating senior from Richfield High School.

• Merritt Brook Scholarship Fund – Offering scholarships to students from Blaine, Camas, Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka, or Twin Falls counties. Financial need is a key consideration.

• William Tews Memorial Scholarship Fund – A scholarship for a graduating senior or previous graduate of Shoshone High School planning to major in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field. Financial need will be considered.

Additionally, several statewide scholarships are available, including:

• Alois and Marie Goldmann Memorial Scholarship Fund – Offering scholarships to graduating seniors from any Idaho high school attending an Idaho-based higher education institution.

• Anne Veseth Memorial Scholarship Fund – This scholarship provides scholarships for students studying Fire Ecology or Auto Mechanics, or for current Wildland Firefighters studying any subject at a two- or four-year college in Idaho.

• Mike Crapo Math and Science Scholarship Fund – Five scholarships are awarded to Idaho residents enrolling as full-time freshmen at an Idaho college or university, majoring in math or science.

“These scholarships are a testament to the spirit of generosity in South Central Idaho,” said Ruth Pierce, Mayor of Twin Falls and an ICF Board Member. “ICF donors are making a lasting impact by investing in the future of Idaho’s students.”

Applications for many scholarships close on March 15th. Students interested in applying are encouraged to visit www.IdahoCF.org for detailed eligibility criteria, application instructions, and deadlines.
