Parts of the Warm Springs side of Bald Mountain will be closed intermittently while workers install the A-net and prepare the race course for the 2025 Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals.
The Finals will be held at Sun Valley Resort March 20-27.
The A-net installation is expected to take place through Thursday, Feb. 20. Some runs will experience a reduced width for skiers to pass through; other runs will close entirely.
Sunday through Monday, Feb. 16-17, Mid-Hemingway will undergo A-net installation; skiers will be able to pass through on a reduced width run.
Tuesday, Feb. 18, the Mid-Greyhawk Cat Track will be closed, preventing access to Mid Hemingway.
Wednesday-Thursday, Feb. 19-29, Upper Greyhawk will be closed entirely.
The A-Net was installed on International on Thursday and Friday with skiers able to pass through on a reduced width run.
In addition, there will be some localized closures due to grooming and fine tuning of terrain from Feb. 17 onwards. Testing for the race course will begin on Saturday, March 1, and continue through Tuesday, March 4, with certain sections closed. There will be a full closure Wednesday, March 5.
From Thursday, March 6, through the end of March skiers can expect the entire course to be closed for final preparation, load in of equipment, training and breakdown.
