Fly Sun Valley Alliance, in partnership with Sun Valley Resort and the Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN), recently announced the SUN airline flight schedule for the 2025 summer and fall season. It will offer nonstop flights to six cities--Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Salt Lake City--with extended service to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago, as well as more frequent daily flights to Denver and Salt Lake City.

United Airlines will continue its daily year-round nonstop Denver (DEN) flights, adding an additional daily flight from May 22 to Sept. 24, and a second daily flight twice a week from Sept. 26-Oct. 25.

United will extend its nonstop Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO) flights twice weekly beginning May 23 through June 22 for LAX and May 24-June 21 for SFO, then will run daily flights from June 25 for LAX and June 26 for SFO to Sept. 1, and back to twice weekly flights from Sept. 3 to Oct. 25.

United will also run its nonstop Chicago (ORD) flights twice weekly from June 6-29, increasing to three flights per week from July 1 through August 27 and then returning to two flights per week Sept. 5-20.

Alaska Airlines will temporarily suspend its Seattle (SEA) service for the period of April 16-May 15 and then resume twice weekly flights from May 17-June 7, increasing to daily flights from June 11–Sept. 30, and then twice weekly flights in October and November.

Delta Air Lines’ year-round service will include three daily nonstop Salt Lake City (SLC) flights through the remainder of the year.

“This summer and fall schedule will offer more frequent flights from May to October, all of which benefit our local residents and SUN travelers who rely on strong and convenient air service,” said Fly Sun Valley Alliance Director Carol Waller.

The overall SUN scheduled seat capacity for the 2025 summer/fall season, May through October, is up 27% over 2024, with the majority of the increase due to increased frequency of Delta’s Salt Lake City flights.

Flights are available for booking and the detailed 2025 summer/fall schedule is available at www.flysunvalleyalliance.com.
