The Sun Valley Museum of Art is presenting three free artist talks in conjunction with the 2025 Audi FIS World Cup Finals and 5850 Fest.

They are among a variety of free discussions offered by 5850 Fest this coming week that look at health, career and more.

THE LINEUP:

SATURDAY, March 22, 2 p.m., The Argyros—BODY TALK with Dr. Charles Weaver, who will look at innovations transforming patient care and treatment.

SATURDAY, March 22, 3:30 p.m. at The Argyros—“KINDRED” FILM features former U.S. Olympic team members Devin Logan and Caroline Claire from competitions to the backcountry as they take the next step in their careers fueled by their loves for the mountain. Q&A to follow.

Sunday, March 23, 1-2 p.m., upstairs at Whiskey’s on Main—CHANGEMAKERS. A discussion on Leadership and the importance of non-profit organizations, community Impact will be led by SVMoA’s Executive Director Jennifer Wells Green; Laura Drake, who is the director of the Trailing of the Sheep Festival held every year in October; Karl Uri, of Sun Valley Culinary Institute and Bruce Seidel, producer of “Lucky Chow,” “The Food Flirts” and “At the Table with…”

SUNDAY, March 23, 2 p.m., Argyros—Body Talk with Dr. Tara Shelby and Dr. Paul Miszczyszyn exploring art, medicine, sports and business.

MONDAY, March 24, 2 p.m. at The Argyros in Ketchum—PHOTOGRAPHER SOFIA JARAMILLO will discuss her project “A New Winter,” which reframes vintage Sun Valley ski photos, substituting people of color for the Anglo skiers of yesteryear. Moderated by Paul Ochi

TUESDAY, March 25, noon at Ketchum Town Square Stage—An exploration of WELLNESS,  SPORTS PERFORMANCE and BRAIN-BASED HEALTH highlighting cutting-edge therapies transforming outcomes for sports injuries, concussions, autoimmune disorders and hormone imbalances.

TUESDAY, March 25, 2 p.m. BODY TALK on Mental Health and Attachment Styles in a World Consumed by Technology and More with Dr. Tara Shelby, Blair Lauren Brown, Monarch and Erin Brower.

WEDNESDAY, March 26, Noon at Whiskey’s on Main—ENTREPRENEURIAL JOURNEYS of FORMER PROFESSIONAL SKIERS like Lyndsey Dyer, AJ Cargill, Heather Featherman and Kelly Manzanti.

WEDNESDAY, March 26, 2 p.m. ARTIST TALK Featuring BRAD JOHNSON: Landscapes of perception. Johnson will discuss his new film, “Terra Montane,” which utilizes photogrammetry and meticulously captured field images to journey into mountain landscapes and glaciers.

The Sun Valley Museum of Art also is showcasing Johnson’s work in an exhibition titled “SNOW SHOW: WINTER NOW,” featuring works by photographer Catherine Opie and others in conjunction with the World Cup Finals.

THURSDAY, March 27, Noon, The Argyros—HALEY CUTLER’s WORLD CUP AND OLYMPIC DREAMS. The Wood River Valley ski racer will offer a behind-the-scenes look at high-level competition, including the intense training, mental fortitude and recovery programs.
