BY KAREN BOSSICK The fastest skiers in the world aren’t the only ones aiming for speed during the 2025 Audi FIS World Cup Finals being held in sun Valley this week. Nationally acclaimed artist Evan Struck will be speed painting at Graham Galleries on Sun Valley Road through Saturday, March 29. Struck will be making his performance art after the races conclude and during evenings when bands are playing on the Main Street Stage.

Struck has already created portraits of the top three World Cup champions from 2024: Marco Odermatt, Manuel Feller and Loic Meillard. They and the new portraits he creates this week will be on display in the gallery through the week. In addition, two of the paintings he created to celebrate the 2025 World Cup Finals have been turned posters, available exclusively at Graham Galleries. Struck has appeared on multiple stages, captivating audiences as he creates masterpieces with color play and hyper-realism within seven minutes. He has performed at ESPN’s College Game Day, NBA halftime shows and prestigious charitable events. He has painted everything from Mickey Mouse to a lion to John Wayne, to countless sports stars, including Patrick Mahomes—even a retro Air Jordan.
A Michigan native, he found his passion for art during middle school. By high school he had become mesmerized by the speed painting videos he saw on YouTube. He performed his first painting at a school talent show and has honed his craft since. In addition to speed painting, he paints murals honoring heroes and history. Through his
Paint and Sip company, “My Masterpiece,” he sends instruction kits to wanna-be artists.
