Delve into the art of casting Thursday when the Hailey Public Library offers a free fly fishing class with local fly-fishing guide Ed Northen.
The class will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Hop Porter Park.
The two-hour class will feature certified casting instructors who will introduce basic casting technique and posture that will improve fishermen’s ability to cast efficiently and precisely.
Participants should bring a fly rod if they have it. Northen will provide fly rods for those who do not.
RSVP at 208-788-2036 or by emailing library.staff@haileypubliclibrary.org.
