Backwoods Mountain Sports is celebrating the start of summer with a Sun’s Out, Fun’ Out party on Thursday, June 12.
The party runs from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12. There’ll be food and drink and raffle prizes, and shoppers will receive coupons good for 15 percent to 50 percent off their purchase.
The party is modeled after Backwoods’ long-running Ladies’ Night held each November to get women jazzed about the ski season, only this party is co-ed.
“We love the opportunity to gather and share stories about recent trips, as well as share the best in new gear,” says owner Paddy McIlvoy. “Ladies’ Night has been a decades-long tradition that we’re excited to expand to Sun’s Out, Fun’s Out to launch the summer season, too.”
Backwoods Mountain Sports is right on the edge of the Main Street road construction project between 4th and 6th Street. Partygoers can access the upstairs parking lot coming south on Main Street.
Downstairs parking is available from 7th Street.
