The countdown is on for Oktoberfest in downtown Twin Falls.
There’ll be two days of free live music, contests, brats and other food and drinks.
The fun kicks off on Friday Oct. 3, with music by Avery Sologa from 5 to 6:30 p.m. followed by music by Northleft from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Saturday’s fun includes a beer stein holding contest and more:
1-3 p.m. Music by Hal Waldran
3-4 p.m. Quaffing sponsored by Koto and O’Dunkens
4-5 p.m. Hot Wing Eating Contest hosted by His & Hers Hot Sauce and Coto
5-7 p.m. Music by Spike Coggins
7-7:30 p.m. Beer Stein Holding contest
7:30-9:30 p.m. Music by Layne Bowen, who reimagines every coffer from classic rock and vintage soul to modern pop and country
DJ Derek Anderson of Modern Sound Downtown will spin the tunes in between.
