The Wood River High School Art Club is offering a free art workshop for the community from 4 to 6 p.m. today—Wednesday, Oct. 8—at Hailey Town Center West.
Club advisors and students will teach watercolor techniques in the class, which is co-sponsored by the Hailey Public Library.
This is the first of several free art workshops the Art Club and library plan to offer through the school year. Supplies, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
While free, donations to the Art Club will be happily accepted.
“Art club is an opportunity for Wood River High School students to get engaged with the community and to extend opportunities for high school students to experience the visual arts,” said tyler Sant, Wood River High School teacher and Art Club advisor. “We fundraise to help us travel to different college campuses, unique field trips and to have a bit of fun together!”
Hailey Town Center West is located across from the library at 116 S. River St.
