Planning a stroll through the Draper Preserve next week? You might want to take a detour.

The City of Hailey is closing the Preserve adjacent to Lions Park for four days beginning Monday, Oct. 27, while workers conduct maintenance work on the main sewer line that runs through the Preserve.

The work is expected to be completed by Thursday, Oct. 30, weather permitting.

The Preserve is being closed to ensure public safety, according to City Administrator Lisa Horowitz. The project is a critical part of the City’s efforts to maintain a reliable, efficient wastewater system.
