The Shoshone Project’s Sixth Annual Warm Clothing and Food Drive ended up serving 175 families with groceries and grocery gift cards this year in what was the Shoshone Project’s largest food and clothing drive to date.

Volunteers distributed more than 450 holiday gifts to children and shared more than 6,000 pounds of warm clothing with those living in the Lincoln County towns of Shoshone, Richfield and Dietrich.

“Every contribution—large and small—played an important role in strengthening families and lifting spirits this holiday season,” said Enid Rawlings, a member of the Shoshone Project Board. “The impact of this event is felt far beyond a single weekend.”

The Shoshone Project helped mobilize more than $150,000 in funding and in-kind support during 2025 through direct grants, community fundraising, donor connections and in-kind donations.

“As we look ahead to 2026, with the continued support of the Wood River Valley, we plan to expand our grant making, strengthen partnerships, and grow support for essential services that help families and communities thrive in Lincoln County,” said Ryan Gates, a Shoshone Project board member.
