All proceeds from Ski for Air Service Day will support air service at Sun Valley’s Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN). There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual may purchase, but no $64 lift tickets will be sold on Jan. 25. Local ski shops are offering discounts on demos and rentals for that day, and several Sun Valley-area lodging properties will have discounted deals, making it an extremely affordable ski weekend for visitors, as well as locals. Proof of purchase of a Ski for Air Service Day lift ticket is required to secure ski/board rental and lodging deals. Ski for Air Service Day has long been presented by Fly Sun Valley Alliance and Sun Valley Resort. The money raised has helped bring nonstop winter flights to Sun Valley from San Diego, Phoenix, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco, in addition to the Seattle and Salt Lake City connections SUN has long had.

“Ski for Air Service Day has been a tremendous success over the years, and we appreciate Sun Valley Resort continuing to partner with us on this popular annual event,” said Carol Waller, executive director of Fly Sun Valley Alliance. “You can get a terrific deal on skiing Sun Valley while supporting our important air service initiatives.” The deeply discounted lift tickets are expected to sell quickly. “Last year the tickets sold out so people should not wait too long to purchase,” Waller said.
