Learn about the latest breast cancer trends and treatments when Expedition Inspiration hosts its 22nd Laura Evans Memorial Breast Cancer Symposium.
After a six-year hiatus, Expedition Inspiration has returned to Sun Valley to bring together some of the brightest minds engaged in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
And the weeklong symposium will include a Keeping Abreast Open Forum on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Ketchum Limelight Hotel’s Silver Creek Room.
The free community event starts at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour featuring a cash bar and light snacks. At 6:30 p.m. researchers will talk about The Role of Environmental Factors on the Occurrence and Progression of Breast Cancer.
Researchers will field questions from the audience.
Expedition Inspiration was founded by the late Sun Valley resident Laura Evans with the idea of bringing researchers together to brainstorm ways to accelerate the prevention and treatment of breast cancer and its recurrence.
One of its cohorts is the Climb for a Cure, which involves taking women who have had breast cancer on fundraising climbs ranging from Aconcagua in South America to the Elephant’s Perch near Redfish Lake.
