The benefit for the Hospice & Palliative Care of the Wood River Valley will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Zenergy Health Club and Spa in Ketchum. Riders are invited to clip in and ride alongside celebrity instructors, such as Steve Porino, who will be just back from announcing Alpine skiing at the Winter Olympics for NBC before heading to the Tour de France where he commentates from a motorcycle.

Think of the miles you can spin for a good cause.

Riders can ride for an hour or more, raising money for Hospice for every mile they spin. Prizes will be awarded for the distance ridden, the hours ridden, the total donations raised and the highest number of individual donors. The goal is $75,000 and riders are encouraged to raise at least $200 per hour with the help of pledges from friends and family. Can’t raise quite that much? No problem—every dollar counts. People can ride remotely, as well.
To participate, sign up at https://givebutter.com/HPCWRV/join. Create a personal fundraising page and share with friends and family, asking them to donate any amount from $5 to $5,000. And don’t forget to reserve your bike at Zenergy. Sponsors include Zenergy, Sun Valley Resort, The Wylde Beet, The Trailhead Bicycles, Bungalow Munch, Bigwood, NourishMe, Galena Lodge, Be Good Foundation, Untapped, Boom!, Sturtevants and Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee. The Hospice & Palliative Care of the Wood River Valley was founded in 1985. Since, it has offered expert and compassionate care to those facing serious illness completely free of charge across 2,644 square miles of Blaine County. Learn more at https://www.hpcwrv.org/.
