Jane Drussel will commemorate four decades of supplying the valley with art and office supplies and party novelties with Jane’s Going Away Party on Tuesday.
The party will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Jane’s Artifacts at 106 S. Main St. in Hailey. It will include a catered lunch from La Cabanita and other refreshments.
The party was moved up from its earlier date of Thursday, April 16.
Chances are you’ll still see Jane around, however, as she plans to continue overseeing Hailey Thrift, which she opened around the corner on Bullion Street. Drussel is giving the profits from that store to the Senior Connection.
Drussel opened Jane’s Paper Place in Ketchum’s Giacobbi Square in 1985, opening a second store in Hailey a few years later. After taking time off to chase the life of a sales rep in 2004, she reopened the Hailey store in 2009.
