Sun Valley Museum of Art will hold its annual Street Party Friday night in conjunction with the opening of its new exhibition “Circa 1971: From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation.”
The free Street Party will be held outside SVMoA at Fifth and Washington streets in Ketchum from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 3.
There will be live music with DJ Jackrabbit Slim offering a mix of 1970s hits, and partygoers are invited to dress to match the vibe.
There also will be drinks, food trucks and arts and crafts for all ages.
And, of course, attendees are invited to duck into the SVMoA to peruse Circa 1971, which features the bold graphics of Pop Art, the exacting detail of Photorealism, the perceptual experiments of Op Art and the intellectual rigor of Conceptual Art.
