Future Roots’ signature annual fundraiser, The Elevated Table is set for 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, at the historic Purdy Ranch property on the banks of Silver Creek near Picabo.
Guests will gather around a long table for a locally focused meal served family style prepared by some of Idaho's most celebrated chefs. Each course will be paired with wines from Holesinsky Vineyard and Winery.
The evening features silent and live auction items, including three one-of-a-kind experiences, and a closing paddle-up. Everything raised during the evening goes toward Future Roots' mission to transform southern Idaho's food system.
The evening's menu is a collaboration by Anne and Scott Mason of Enoteca and Mason Family Provisions, Chris & Rebecca Kastner of CK's Real Food, Callie & Maeme Rasberry of Rasberrys Bistro & Catering and Julie Johnson and Carissa Cooper of NourishMe.
The event is hosted at a new event space on the creek within the K Bar K Ranch, established in 1889 by the Kilpatrick brothers. Stewarded by the Purdy Family for four generations, the operation spans thousands of acres throughout Picabo and the Bellevue Triangle.
“The Elevated Table is not only our signature fundraising event of the year, but also a celebration of the many aspects of our regional food system," said Amy Mattias, Executive Director of Future Roots. "It's an opportunity to come together around a beautiful table and remind everyone that when we support our local ranchers, farmers, and producers, we're investing in a resilient future for our communities.”
