Buy a new knit hat or some decorated sugar cookies and benefit a kid in the Wood River Valley.
The Papoose Club is holding its 28th annual Holiday Bazaar today and Sunday, Dec.1-2, at Hemingway Elementary School in Ketchum.
There’ll be more than 70 juried artists selling handmade artisan products, including woodcraft items, jewelry, fleece, T-shirts, candles, upcycled glass, soaps, lotions, leather, pottery and dream catchers.
There’ll be many new vendors this year, bringing with them hand-blown glass and ornaments, handbags, birdhouses, home decor, textiles, handmade fisherman nets and fly boxes, belts, wooden utensils and painted walking stick items carved from stone.
Perry’s will provide chicken tortilla soup, seafood chowder and vegan chili for sale, along with cornbread, for those wanting to have lunch in a festive atmosphere or to take home
There’ll be cookies by the dozen and a raffle good for 40 items, including a season ski pass, restaurant gift certificates, entertainment tickets, oil changes, tire care and women’s hair care. Raffle tickets are $20 for 12 or $2 each.
There also will be live music and kid’s activities. And Santa will visit from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Proceeds from the bazaar will benefit various youth programs in the Wood River Valley.
