Check out Gnaw Bone on Thursday when The Chamber of Hailey and the Wood River Valley holds its September Business After Hours.
The mixer, open to the public, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Gnaw Bone Dog Grooming at 519 S. Main St. in Hailey.
The business offers grooming services for both dogs and cats. Food and beverages will be provided and business cards will be entered in the BAH raffle.
Last week’s Wake Up with Hailey event attracted dozens of community members, business leaders and even some high school students to the Community Campus.
There they got to take part in a Bingo game, which involved a walk-about the Community Campus to meet the tenants, which include the Sun Valley Music Festival’s School of Music and the Lee Pesky Learning Center.
Those who completed the Bingo card were entered into a raffle that included raffle tickets good for a Sun Valley season ski pass, BCRD season pass and gift certificates for Atkinsons’ Market that will be drawn at NAMI’s Swing Fore Recovery golf tournament on Friday, Sept. 20.
Kristy Heitzman of the Blaine County Education Foundation told of the upcoming college scholarship fair on Oct. 23, which will offer parents and students one-stop shopping for the first time to learn about the opportunities available.
And Geegee Lowe revealed that this year’s Lamb Bites Dine Around at the Trailing of the Sheep Festival being held Oct. 10 through 13 will feature bites from 15 restaurants.
