The Sun Valley Wellness Festival & Conference is on the move.

The event, acknowledged as the longest-running wellness festival in the world, will take up residence in downtown Ketchum June 26-29, 2020.

The SVWFC will use the Argyros Performing Arts Center, the Limelight Hotel, Ketchum’s Forest Service Park and Washington Street.

Organizers plan to establish the SVWFC Wellness Path between the various venues.

The move is meant to take advantage of the new facilities in Ketchum and to accommodate the space needs of the expanding event, said Board President Andria Friesen.

“While we immensely enjoyed our past two years at The Sun Valley Community School, change is continuing as our well-received programming and new June dates have created the need for a larger footprint. The Argyros Performing Arts Center, the Limelight Hotel and Forest Service Park are in many ways the pulse of our community.”

The Argyros will be used for featured and key speakers. The Limelight will accommodate additional speakers and serve as SVWFC headquarters.

The Limelight Lounge will also feature the SVWFC In-Sight Stage, which offers free mini-lectures open to the public. And the Forest Service Park and Washington Avenue will be transformed into the SVWFC Experience Park with vendors lining the perimeter, movement classes in the center and music throughout.

The 23rd annual SVWFC will feature more than 50 presentations, workshops and movement classes addressing body, mind, spirit and environmental wellness.

Past festivals have featured such speakers as Marianne Williamson and Arianna Huffington.

Passes will go on sale online Dec. 3 at www.sunvalleywellness.org. The Limelight Hotel will offer special lodging rates and 20 percent discounts on Festival passes valid with confirmed lodging reservations.

The 2020 sponsors include Spirituality & Health, Limelight Hotel, Wild Tonic, Blue Farm Wines, Friesen Gallery and Rising Springs.
