Are they as gabby as you or me?

Learn how to listen to what sagebrush say to other plants, wildlife and even humans when Jennifer S. Forbey presents “Messages from the Sagebrush Sea.”

Forbey, a professor in Boise State University’s Department of Biological Sciences, will discuss the lines of communication between sagebrush plants at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church basement in Hailey.

The church is located at Bullion Street and Second Avenue.

The free presentation is offered by the Wood River Chapter of the Idaho Native Plant Society. It is open to the public.
