The Wildflower is holding a special holiday drive for women using The Advocates’ services.
The list of items needed includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, full-sized bottles of lotion, laundry detergent, toothpaste, full-sized bottles of deodorant, full boxes of tampons, pads and diapers, hair spray, razors, air brushes, nail polish, mascara and lip gloss.
“Many individuals and families in our community use food stamps to provide for their everyday needs. What most don’t know is that these food stamps can’t be used for products women and children need, such as tampons, pads, shampoo, diapers and more,” said Wildflower owner Lisa Beckham Patterson. “The Advocates works to support these needs by compiling feminine hygiene products.”
Items can be dropped off from Tuesday, Nov. 17 through Monday, Nov. 30, at The Wildflower.
The Wildflower Idaho, an apparel and gift boutique shop, is located at 102 N. Main St. in Hailey and it has a new location at 331 North Leadville Avenue in Ketchum.
Each item donated nets the donor an opportunity to be entered into The Wildflower’s raffle to win a Johnny Was coat.
