by the creator was gratitude”
Go walk in the woods
and see if it isn’t so
listen to the voices
of the earth.
You will hear the
the rivers melody
the Thrush’s song
all reminding us
of our origins
our role in this world
which is to lead
the procession
with a vociferous chorus
of gratitude
