Discounted Early Bird Season passes for the new revitalized Aquatic Center in Hailey are now on sale through May 31.
Dolphins Swim Team registration is open, as well, along with registration for Youth Swim School and Aquarobics.
The Blaine County Recreation District will open its newly enhanced pool on Saturday, May 29. The pool features a renovated 25-yard-six-lane pool and a new zero-depth leisure pool. There’s a basketball hoop and a new climbing will in the lap pool and a log roller in the leisure pool. A snack bar will be open during open swim.
Limited pre-season pool hours begin May 29 with regular summer hours starting Saturday, June 12.
Season passes, available online at https://bcrd.org cost $154 for a family of four, $80 for adults, $66 for children 17 and younger and $66 for seniors 62 and older through May 31. Prices increase to $183, $94, $78, and $78 on June 1.
Day passes are $15 for a family, $5 for an adult, $4 for children and seniors, $7 for Aquarobics and $5 for seniors taking Aquarobics classes.
Due to COVID-19 the facility capacity for open swim will be limited to ensure social distancing.
Youth Swim School offers 30-minute group swim lessons for children 3 to 12 years of age in two -week sessions from June 14 through Aug. 19. The classes, held Mondays through Thursdays, cost $42 a session and can be arranged by calling 208-578-2273 or visiting https://bcrd.org. Registration is also available at BCRD’s FitWorks front desk from 4 to 7 p.m. through April 29, from noon to 5 p.m. April 30 and during FitWorks business hours after April 30.
Dolphins Swim Team registration is online for children ages 5 through 18 who can swim 5 yards. Participation in Sagebrush Swim League meets will be determined according to the prevalence of COVID-19 in the Wood River Valley and surrounding areas.
Cost is $80 for children 10 and under and $120 for those 11 and over.
