STORY AND PHOTOS BY KAREN BOSSICK

Ghosts danced in the streets during Nightmare on Main Street.

And hundreds of children from as far away as Carey and Picabo took to the streets of Hailey for a long Halloweekend.

And the weather was anything but spooky with temperatures that climbed to 61 degrees all three days.

Some of the topical costumes may have been hard to get this year due to supply shortages affecting just about everything.

But youngsters found their groove, flitting around as butterflies, and families turned out in full Flintstone mode. There were even a plethora of pint-sized construction workers ready to step up should labor shortages continue.
