100 Men Who Care has awarded $11,400 to I Have a Dream Foundation.
The donation reflects pooled donations given at the organization’s last quarterly meeting of 2021.
I Have a Dream Foundation-Idaho has provided educational and cultural enrichment to a group of students who are now in Wood River High School since they were in third grade. Students who go on to post-secondary education will get help with tuition.
The program just embarked on a new program with first-graders in the Blaine County School District. It also has provided summer tutoring to students trying to make up lost credits and taken part in a pilot program to cultivate leadership among high school students.
This last gift means that 100 Men Who Care have donated $308,775 to various nonprofit organizations throughout the Wood River Valley since February 2013.
