The Sun Valley Culinary Institute plans to toast the second anniversary of its ribbon cutting on Friday, March 11.
The Institute will hold an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at its location at 211 N. Main St., Ketchum. The community is invited to stop by, enjoy refreshments and learn about upcoming events and the Institute’s Professional Culinary Program.
The Institute has managed to host nearly 200 cooking demonstrations and workshops for the community despite the pandemic. It launched its first professional culinary program in Fall 2021.
It will offer another year-long professional training program in the Fall of 2022.
“We would not have made it over the last two years without the support of our incredible community,” said Karl Johan Uri, the Institute’s executive director. “This is an opportunity for us to say, ‘Thank you.’”
