Betty Richardson will discuss how to organize Idaho’s women to make a positive difference statewide and nationally during a Blue Girls Gather event this afternoon at the Limelight Hotel in Ketchum.
Richardson will speak at the gathering, which is open to men as well, from 4:30 to 6:30 today—Sunday, March 27, in the Silver Creek Room.
Richardson, an Idaho native, is considered a dynamic speaker on empowering and mobilizing voters. She also is the founder of the Facebook page Idaho Women for Biden/Harris, which has more than 10,000 followers.
She helped revitalize the Democrat party in Ada County, Idaho’s largest county. And she has worked as the chairwoman of Idaho Industrial Commission, as an attorney at the Idaho Justice Department and as an attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice.
She earned her B.A. in political science from the University of Idaho and her law degree from the University of California-Hastings.
