A barn in a field of yellow flowers. A rainbow striking a hilltop.
These are some of the images that will greet passengers leaving to and from Friedman Memorial Airport during the summer months.
The Airport will hold a reception for the artists whose work will be shown from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 9 in the passenger terminal.
This particular exhibition features a “Palouse Barn” by Marybeth Flower, a work titled “Jubilation” by Mimi Stuart, Rudi Broschofsky’s “Hank,” Steve Dondero’s “Rainbow over Ruud,” Tina Cole’s “White Crane Black Sky” and Marie Stewart’s “Rainbow Splash.”
And that’s just for starters, as 38 artists are represented.
Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. And parking will be validated.
