The Simons/Bauer Preserve near the Big Wood River in Hailey will take the place of a concert hall when classical pianist Hunter Noack performs at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10.
Noack will perform “IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild” on a 9-foot Steinway grand piano that travels on a flatbed trailer to National Parks, ranches and historical sites. The concert is designed to connect people with the landscape.
To address the acoustical challenges of a performing in the wild, sound is transmitted to concert-goers via wireless headphones that are included in the ticket price.
