Classical Music in the Wild Comes to Hailey
Saturday, June 18, 2022

The Simons/Bauer Preserve near the Big Wood River in Hailey will take the place of a concert hall when classical pianist Hunter Noack performs at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10.

Noack will perform “IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild” on a 9-foot Steinway grand piano that travels on a flatbed trailer to National Parks, ranches and historical sites. The concert is designed to connect people with the landscape.

To address the acoustical challenges of a performing in the wild, sound is transmitted to concert-goers via wireless headphones that are included in the ticket price.

Cost is $35 for Sun Valley Museum of Art members, $45 for nonmembers and $20 or students 18 and under. Tickets are available at Or, call 208-726-9491.
