Kudos to the Food & Nutrition team at St. Luke’s Wood River.
Everybody on the team contributed to this year’s annual Employee Giving Campaign “Stronger Together,” making this the twelfth year every one on the Food & Nutrition team has participated.
One hundred percent of the employees in 31 departments participated, with the Environmental Services team reaching their first 100 percent participation.
In all, 93 percent of St. Luke’s Wood River employees and 69 percent of physicians made contributions.
The donations are used for fellow employees’ emergency expenses, staff education, upgraded technology and such community programs as compassionate care and scholarships for mammography, mental health and Lymphedema.
“I am deeply touched by the hospital team’s generosity. St. Luke’s Wood River employees donate at levels that are among the highest in the nation. They are incredibly committed to providing extraordinary care to our community,” said St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation’s Chief Development Officer Megan Tanous.
All of the donations made to St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation remain in the community.
