The Marshall Tucker Band formed in 1972 in Spartanburg, S.C., naming themselves after a blind piano tuner whose name they found inscribed on a key to their first rehearsal space. They have produced more than 20 albums, racking up multi-platinum album sales on several occasions.
Currently on their 50th anniversary tour, the southern rock group’s song list includes “Heard it in a Love Song,” “Can’t You See,” “Fire on the Mountain,” “Long Hard Ride” and “Ramblin.’ ”
Jeremy McComb’s endeavors include the Grammy-nominated soundtrack “Blue Collar Comedy Tour-One for the Road.” His new release “Burned Out” expresses the exuberance of getting back to what we love and have missed. The nostalgic album on which it appears was inspire by the classic TV show “The Wonder Years.”
