Horsemanship trainer Dana Glass is all about setting horses up for success.
He gives young horses a strong start and naughty horses a second chance.
Glass will conduct two three-day horsemanship clinics Sept. 8-10 at Swiftsure Ranch south of Bellevue.
The first—Foundation & Connection—will be held rom 9 a.m. to noon p.m. It is deigned to build mutual respect, confidence and develop softness and a connection starting not in the saddle but on the ground.
Horsemanship 101 will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. and will be in the saddle. It is designed to offer a series of exercises to improve awareness of the horse’s needs and teach the rider ways to help their horse understand what is being asked to achieve increased balance and partnership.
Glass is affiliated with Two Wordls Equestrian, a collaboration with Olympic bronze medalist Kasey Perry-Glass. The courses can be audited, as well.
