A spicy edition of Gimlets in the Garden is taking place next week.
The annual fundraiser for the public Sawtooth Botanical Garden will be held from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, and will feature southwest cuisine, signature spicy gimlet cocktails, raffle prizes and live music.
This year’s event will offer new picnic style seats for $80 per person. Table seats are $120 per person or $800 for a table of eight.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Sadly, garden executives announced late Thursday that they were cancelling next weeks Gimlets in the Garden. But Jen Smith said they are working on bringing back the Bug Zoo, which was cancelled the past two years due to COVID, back in October. They also hope to rebrand their New Moon Dinners, calling them Dark Sky Dinners, instead. They will be held around new moon dates November through February.
