Sing the “Happy Birthday” song to a bridge and enjoy a slice of Bow Bridge birthday cake.
The Wood River Land Trust is throwing a birthday party for the iconic bridge over the Big Wood River from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6.
Land Trust representatives will be greeting folks with cake and they hope partygoers will take the time to share favorite memories, photos and art pieces for a community story board.
The Bow Bridge, designed to resemble a recurve archery bow, connects Lions Park and the Draper Preserve boardwalk to the remainder of the Draper Preserve. It has served as the spot for quinceanera photos and wedding photos, among other things.
