BY MICHAEL DAVID

The Sun Valley Suns kicked off the 2022–23 season this past weekend by welcoming their rivals from Montana--the Bozeman Stingers--to town. The hospitality ended abruptly once the puck dropped on Friday night at The Ice House in Hailey.

The Suns put on an offensive display and defeated the stingers 13-2 on Friday night in the first of two games. The Suns continued to fill up the nets on Saturday, defeating the short-handed Bozeman squad 9-2.

Check out all the action in today’s Eye on Sun Valley video.

Up next for Sun Valley is a date with the Arizona Desert Dogs Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9 and 10. Games start at 7:15 p.m. both nights. Tickets are available online at https://www.svsunshockey.com.
