The Idaho phacelia—what some might call Purple Fringe—is one of the more spectacular flowers blooming in the fields near Stanley. In today’s video, Eye on Sun Valley naturalist Lisa Horton introduces us to the phacelia, as well as elk thistle, northern suncup and the pink prairie smoke, which sees to be smoking everywhere you look in the Wood River Valley as the days grow shorter.
