Next time you go to Twin Falls, consider skipping the Food Court at Costco and heading for the Second South Market at 210 2nd Avenue South in downtown Twin Falls.
The food court, billed as “Idaho’s Original Food Hall,” is located in a historic building where Twin Falls residents hid liquor during Prohibition, later using the building as a blacksmith shop, a boiler making factory, a place to repair steam tractor and, finally, as a front for the Salvation Army.
Today it houses several unique eateries, including the Petite Creperie where you can watch a variety of savory and sweet crepes being made, a Vietnamese pho soup shop owned and run by a Burmese natïve, Smokey Bone BBQ, a sushi and poke bowl shop, Lucy's pizza palace and a coffee shop with an array of creative coffee drinks. When the weather warms, diners can enjoy music and cornhole on the large patio.
