Meet the Ghost of the Pioneer Saloon

Sunday, August 16, 2020

It opened in 1945 as the Commercial Club and served as a gambling casino until it was closed for serving minors. Since, Ketchum’s Pioneer Saloon has been used by the American Legion, as a dry goods store, antique store and a beloved steak and prime rib place with some of the biggest spuds in Idaho.

But it’s not just popular with locals and vacationers. A ghost even haunts the iconic restaurant and saloon. Join Eye on Sun Valley’s Karen Bossick as she introduces you to the ghost of the Pioneer Saloon in today’s Eye on Sun Valley video.
