Idaho Trout-Learn How They’re Grown

Thursday, June 24, 2021

The fry start out life in the middle of a farm pasture protected from eagle and other raptors that might swoop in to get them. And months later they mature into big plump trout that you can find at the Wood River Farmers Market.

See where your food is coming from as Eye on Sun Valley’s Marie Gallo takes you to Koehn Trout Farms near Buhl, hauls in a net full and then learns how to filet them at the hands of Jeff Koehn.
