Pot Rod Races Turn Stanley into a Colorful Playground

Wooden thrones took to the streets of Stanley this week as pedal pushers pushed a dozen-plus portable potties down the street.

It was an opportunity for the 69 residents of this mountain hamlet north of Sun Valley to enjoy a cabin fever reliever as they invited a couple hundred adults and children to flock to town to enjoy a day of fat bike racing, turkey bowling, three-legged races and whitewater rafting down a steep hill overlooking town.

Join in the fun as Eye on Sun Valley’s Karen Bossick takes you to the scene in today’s video.
