Sun Valley Resort is cranking up its Roundhouse Gondola and Christmas Chair today for lift-served hiking and biking.

Both will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays with lift tickets available online for a discounted price. Tickets can also be purchased at the River Run ticket office from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays.

Enduro and downhill bikes are available for rent at Pete Lane’s at River Run. Path bikes are available for rent at Pete Lane’s in the Sun Valley Village.

• The historic Roundhouse Restaurant opens for the summer today and will serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays. Indoor and outdoor seating will be available. Reservations are not being taken this summer.
• Yoga at River Run presented by the Brass Ranch starts up again today and will run at 9 a.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays through Sept. 11. The free class outside on the River Run Plaza is suitable for those of all ages and skill levels.
• Yoga on the Mountain will kick off on July 11 atop Bald Mountain outside the Lookout Lodge. The class costs $50 and includes a lift pass.

  Masks will be required, per a federal order mandating mask wearing on federal lands, when guests are unable to physically distance themselves from others.

• Tickets for Sun Valley on Ice are also now on sale. The shows kick off July 3 and run through Sept. 4 at Sun Valley Resort’s outdoor ice rink and feature world-class headliners.
