Get a glimpse into the world of adaptive skiing ahead of the 2022 Paralympics in Beijing on Sunday when Higher Ground holds a Ski Race and Expo.

Higher Ground, which provides adaptive skiing and other therapeutic recreation opportunities for youth and Wounded Warriors, will hold a special event on Sunday, Feb. 27, at Dollar Mountain.

There’ll be an opportunity to examine adaptive equipment at a Programs Expo outside the Higher Ground yurt next to the Half-Dollar lift from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Then, Higher Ground Athletes will hold a ski race on Quarter Dollar from 12:30 to 2 p.m. An Awards Ceremony will follow at 2:30 p.m.
